Langham Hall

This property was commissioned by the Home Office during the war for the detention of POWs and war casualties.

After the war it was abandoned and by the 1980s it had fallen into disrepair. I was commissioned by the current owner to restore the original architectural fixtures. The job included reinstallation of 6 white carrara chimney pieces and marble fireplaces were sourced and acquired locally from a building of the appropriate era which had succumbed to modernisation.
